Course Aims
This course is designed to help you to obtain the basic skills required to operate a personal computer running the Microsoft Windows operating system. You will learn to start applications, create and manage files and folders, and use a printer. You will also learn to use basic features of the Microsoft Office suite. You will learn to complete simple tasks such as getting help, opening and saving files, creating a document in Word, and sending and reading email using Outlook.
Assumed Knowledge
No previous experience of using a computer or software applications is required.

Those new to, or with little experience of, personal computers, wanting to acquire basic skills in file management, word processing, and email.
